Queen drummer Roger Taylor took the stage in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 broadcast on the Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel. The musician accompanied British singer Sam Ryder, who took second place in the last competition.
Taylor became one of the organizers of the event as a “secret guest”. She played drums during Ryder’s non-competitive “Mountain” performance.
Eurovision 2023 was held in Liverpool, England. The winner was singer Loreen (Lauryn) from Sweden. She was the second player to win twice in the history of the competition. Second place went to Finland (rapper Käärijä). Third – Israel (singer Noa Kirel).
Previously reportedfans accused him of falsifying Eurovision due to Sweden’s victory ahead of the 50th anniversary of the ABBA group.
