Ticket operator Topbilet.kz accused Russian rapper OG Buda of disrupting the concert in Astana. The company said the artist “escaped Kazakhstan with the money from the tickets sold”. However, OG Buddha claims that organizers who do not fulfill the terms of the contract are responsible for the cancellation of the performance.

Topbilet.kz posted a message on Instagram (the owner of Meta was recognized as an extremist and banned in Russia) where he stated that he had filed a complaint with the police about rapper OG Buddha. “In the near future, our lawyers are preparing several more cases and a press conference where the real reasons for the artist’s absence from the site and fleeing from Kazakhstan will be revealed,” they said. The company is also preparing a class action lawsuit over the artist’s use of obscene language in public.

Evaluating the accusations against him, OG Buddha emphasized that he gave two concerts in Kazakhstan during the preparation phase. He played the first – in the city of Alma-Ata – but at this time he was faced with the fact that the organizers did not fulfill the rider, they were technically poorly prepared, did not provide a dressing room and did not organize security. “I had to stop the concert after every track [из-за давки] For six to eight minutes, security and the organizers did not react in any way, ”the rapper recalled.

He stated that after the concert he fined the organizers for non-fitness and other problems, but they refused to pay for it. “The sound control of the concert in Astana revealed that the situation was repeating itself. We said we don’t want a repetition and we said that safety comes first. The men started shouting that we are scammers. They wrote statements against us, said that they would not take us abroad, that they had connections there and that everything was a balm and we would regret it. <…> The dirtiest and ugliest situation,” added OG Buddha.

Topbilet.kz, on the other hand, released a video from the concert hall with the headline “Everything was ready for the concert, but the artist refuses to go on stage”.
