A concert dedicated to the birthday of composers Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Johannes Brahms, who were born on the same day in the capital of Italy, was held. TASS.
About 200 guests attended the event, and the concert was held within the walls of the Russian House in Rome.
Famous works by composers, including Tchaikovsky’s three-piece “Memories of a Dear Place”, were performed at the event.
It was performed by the soloist of the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic Orchestra and a graduate of the Moscow State Conservatory Gayk Kazazyan. Tchaikovsky, pianist Natalia Morozova.
“According to UNESCO, Tchaikovsky’s music is considered the most frequently performed music in the world. This is another proof of the banal truth that music and culture in general know no borders,” said Daria Pushkova, director of the Russian House.
