Deadline reports that Netflix has canceled the teen fantasy series Lockwood & Company after season 1.

The reason for the decision to broadcast is called the insufficient number of views of the series among viewers from different countries. The producers of the series thanked the entire film crew of the project and described the experience of working on the series as “one of the most important experiences in my career”.

Lockwood & Company is an adaptation of Jonathan Stroud’s teen fantasy series of the same name.

The plot revolves around a group of young Londoners who engage in dangerous battles with the ghosts that inhabit the British capital every night. Among the main agencies engaged in the search for evil spirits, there is one independent – Lockwood and Company Agency. It is run by three young people: Anthony Lockwood, George Karim and Lucy Carlyle. The heroes must together solve a terrible secret that could change the course of world history.
