NTV will launch in Russia a new channel of documentary films about the history of the country “Unknown Russia”.

“The core of the new TV channel will be the documentary projects of the NTV channel and the documentary series created by the largest Russian scientific and cultural associations. We will show the audience Russia as it is – a wonderful country with a rich history and talented people,” said NTV director Alexei Zemsky.

The channel will tell about the history of Russia, about its great people – writers, scientists, musicians, researchers and other outstanding personalities. Viewers are especially fond of “Military Historical Routes”, “History Is Not Boring”, the winning films of the International Festival of Non-Fiction Films “Arctic” – “Hear the Grass Grows”, “Winter Summer” and many other films, programs, series.
