The slogan of the review in 2023 was the phrase “Russian cinema – a prediction for tomorrow.” According to the organizers, this slogan includes the search for new trends, trends and meanings in national cinematography. “And again, in front of guests and the professional public, there will be some of the best that came out in our cinema last year,” the organizers say.
Window to Europe has been held annually since 1993. Filmmakers Marlen Khutsiev, Savva Kulish, Stanislav Rostotsky and composer Mikael Tariverdiev were present at the start of the festival.
