Action star Jackie Chan admitted in an interview with socialbites.ca that he would like to play the same roles that Robert de Niro had in the future.
“Since I told you about Robert De Niro, then [хотел бы сыграть] good guy and bad guy, good and bad cop, ghost, rookie, crime boss, gangster. I want to try some of these,” Chang said.
He added that the audience did not want to see Jackie Chan as a villain, but wanted to try him in a similar role: “So let a good screenwriter write it. [под меня] A hero who could be a good villain.”
According to Chan, his action scene colleague Sylvester Stallone invited him to play the role of a criminal. At the same time, the actor does not like full-fledged villains, he wants his character to be able to change in this process.
“By the way, Stallone has already offered me a hero who turns from a drug dealer villain to a good man. But whatever happens, I remained there as a drug dealer that I could not accept. I hope that one day the director and screenwriter writes something where I will be the villain from the very beginning. I want to play the bad guy! But then he turned out to be a good guy. Conditionally – an undercover cop,” said Chan.
