South Korean group Aespa breaks record among K-pop groups in album sales

South Korean girl group Aespa sold approximately 1.37 million copies on the first day of their third EP “My World”. The group thus broke the record for fastest album sales among K-pop groups, the agency reported. “Yonhap news”.

It is known that the pre-orders of the record are 1.8 million copies.

“My World” will be the girl quartet’s second album to sell over 1 million copies – the previous one was “Girls”. Their most recent album topped the iTunes Top Albums charts in 20 countries, including Japan, Finland, Brazil, Singapore, and Thailand. At the same time, Aespa’s first LP sold over 1.25 million copies in the first week after its release.

Aespa is a South Korean girl group consisting of four members: Karina, Giselle, Winter, Ninning. They entered the music scene in 2020 with the single “Black Mamba”.
