People’s Artist of Russia Shaukat Amirov died at the age of 75. It has been reported uralcult.ru.

Shaukat Amirov was born on May 9, 1947 in the city of Miass. He graduated from the Magnitogorsk Music College in 1966. MI Glinka. Then he entered the Ural State Conservatory. MP Mussorgsky (UGK), from which he graduated in 1974. After graduation, the musician served in the army and performed in the song and dance ensemble of the Ural Military District.

Later, Amirov began to study at the Miass School of Music. He also headed the string folk instruments department at the Chelyabinsk State Institute of Culture and gave concerts in the Chelyabinsk Philharmonic Orchestra. Between 2003 and 2010, he worked as a rector at the Ural State Conservatory. MP Mussorgsky.

Throughout his career, Amirov has performed in Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, France and Japan, Vietnam, Korea, Czechoslovakia and the Philippines.

In 1989, Amirov was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR, and in 2006 he became People’s Artist of Russia. In 2022, he was awarded the title of Honored Artwork of the Republic of Tatarstan.
