Blogger Valeria Chekalina, known under the pseudonym Lerchek, found another source of income. It has been reported kp.ru.
According to the publication, the other day Chekalina’s income from her company Letik Makeup LLC was made public. The company’s 2022 revenue was 172 million rubles and its net profit was 78 million. It was noted that the financial performance of the project increased 1.3-1.5 times compared to 2021.
It is also stated that Chekalina can freely transfer and withdraw these funds from company accounts.
On March 7, Lerchek and her husband Artem were accused of tax evasion in the amount of 300 million rubles.
Later A second criminal case was opened against Chekalina. The blogger was accused of money laundering on a particularly large scale. According to investigators, in April 2021, Chekalina and her husband, together with their accomplices, “laundered more than 130 million rubles criminally obtained by purchasing US currency for themselves.” As a preventive measure, the court banned Chekalin from using the Internet and blogging.
