The film adaptation of the cult game Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Between Thieves was released digitally on Amazon and other streaming platforms on May 2.

The writers of the Night Games comedy and Spider-Man: Homecoming reboot John Francis Daly and Jonathan M. Goldstein were responsible for the film adaptation. The movie stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Rege-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Hugh Grant, Chloe Coleman and others.

The Dungeons & Dragons game itself appeared in 1974 and quickly gained cult status. In it, a group of players go through various missions, interact with the outside world and participate in battles. The course of the game is controlled by the server, the “master of the dungeon” who acts as the storyteller and judge. A distinctive feature of “Dungeons and Dragons” was the use of dice with a large number of faces.
