A memorial album dedicated to the anniversary of the singer Valeria is available on music platforms. This was reported to socialbites.ca by representatives of VK Records.
The project was called the “Second Internet Album”. Recorded by musicians MONA, Hands Up!, The Limba and HammAli & Navai. The EP consists of four songs, one from each artist. They covered the works of Valeria with a new sound. Shortly before that, The Limba presented Valeria a remix of her song “You are sad” live, and stated that the singer approved the track.
“If Valeria personifies the stage, the big stage, then the artists we have chosen for the homage are those who broadcast well online and are willing to participate and feel in Valeria’s music. Therefore, it made sense to call this EP the Second Internet Album, ”said Viktor Abramov, general manager of VK Records.
In 2000, the “First Internet Album” was released, which included 12 remixes of Valeria’s songs. According to Abramov, at the time the project was seen as “major hype.” “At that time they were just beginning to use the Internet to send files. The album was written remotely with many authors, through the transfer of precisely these tracks, ”explained the CEO of VK Records.
