The leader of the accident group, Alexey Kortnev, confirmed that he was sued after an incident involving insulting a policeman in a bar in Novosibirsk. He talked about it in an interview with TASS.
He stated that he would meet with his lawyer and fly to Novosibirsk. “All transactions will take place within the framework of the law. I think it is definitely not deserved.” He evaluated the situation.
The case against Kortnev was initiated in accordance with Art. 319 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Insulting the representative of power”). Now in the making of the Investigative Committee department for the investigation of particularly important cases.
According to media reports, in February 2023, Kortnev allegedly showed obscene gesture to a law enforcement officer. This happened after firefighters and police officers arrived at the club where the artist was supposed to be performing, who reported that there was smoke in the building.
