Soviet and Russian composer and music teacher Alexei Muravlev died at the age of 98. It gives information about TASS With reference to the press service of the Union of Composers of Russia.
“Muravlev is dead,” the organization said.

Muravlev was an Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR, a member of the Union of Composers and the Union of Cinematographers. He has composed music for more than 40 films, including “A House with a Mezzanine” based on a short story by Anton Chekhov (directed by Yakov Bazelian, 1960). Muravlev taught at the Moscow Institute of Culture and the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music.
