“It’s just that my constant conversations with Ridley gave me confidence. At one point he said to me: “Dude, we’re not going to shoot anything on camera that you don’t believe in one hundred percent,” Crowe said.
The original Gladiator was released in 2000 and was nominated for Academy Awards in 12 categories.
