Alesya Murashkevich, the daughter of Natalia Guseva, who played Alisa Selezneva in the 1985 film Guest of the Future, told socialbites.ca that she was impressed by the cast of the film Hundred Years Ago. The trailer for the sci-fi blockbuster movie based on the story of the same name by Kir Bulychev was released on April 18 by the film company Central Partnership. At the same time, Murashkevich admitted that the new film lacks retrofuturism and the “book world” of the writer Bulychev.
“I was waiting for this trailer and when it came out I immediately sent it to all my friends and acquaintances. The first thing I liked was the cast. Khabensky and Victoria Isakova are first-rate actors and immediately raise the bar. Of course, the most likely claims for Alice would be: But the appearance of Dasha (Vereshchagina, who played Alisa Selezneva. – socialbites.ca) is unique. Feminine, sharp, modern. If I were a man, I would fall in love with such a memory. The villain is also intrigued, charismatic but completely unexpected for a pirate. According to him, unlike Future Guest, Kir Bulychev’s unique style is lost in the movie Hundred Years Later. Murashkevich said that despite this, the family of Natalia Guseva is looking forward to the premiere.
“As much as I’m a little sad, it’s not quite the same book world. Rather, it’s our vision of the modern cyberpunk future that we don’t really want to get into in the future. What a difference Bulychev’s retrofuturism! Still, this is a unique style with lots of important details, lots of warmth! There is a fear of getting a traditional blockbuster movie at the exit.
