In an interview with socialbites.ca, Russian actor Boris Shcherbakov, who played in the movie “Guest from the Future” in 1985, commented on the trailer for his new film “One Hundred Years Later”, based on the same story by Kir Bulychev. Shcherbakov, who said that the cast was well chosen, wished success at the box office.

“Judging by the trailer, the movie was made to a high quality, the actors were well chosen, so I can wish the creators good luck at the box office and repeat the success of the legendary Guest from the Future,” he said.

On April 18, the Central Partnership film company released the trailer for the movie Hundred Years Later, directed and written by Alexander Andryushchenko. The movie will be released in wide release on December 28, 2023.

The role of Alisa Selezneva was played by Daria Vereshchagina, Kolya Gerasimova – Mark Eidelstein. Also, Alexander Petrov appeared in the film as space pirate Veselchak U and Konstantin Khabensky as Professor Seleznev.

The original film “Guest from the Future” directed by Pavel Arsenov was released in 1985. Boris Shcherbakov played the role of Ivan Sergeevich, an employee of the Institute of Time from Ancient Greece.
