A project shared by more than 130 European institutions
Women’s Legacy is a European Erasmus+ KA201 education innovation project that started in 2020 with the aim of incorporating women’s contributions in the fields of history, culture and science into educational content. One of the most important features of all business lines is its transferability, such that its intellectual resources are designed to be adapted to other languages and different education systems.
There are nine partner organizations from Spain, Italy, Lithuania and Scotland for the development of Women’s Legacy. This is the state of the education services of Glasgow City Council, the council of Scotland’s largest city; University of Valencia and University of Vilnius; o El Legado de las Mujeres, a Spanish association working and collaborating to make women visible in Secondary Education content, with a large part of the teaching staff contributing to the project.
The other four partners in this Erasmus+ project are Valencia Intersindical’s Melchor Botella Union Training School; IAL Nazionale (Innovazione Apprendimento Lavoro), the largest Italian social enterprise network working in the field of vocational education and continuing education; as well as two secondary schools: IES Benicalap in Valencia and IIS Luigi Einaudi in Italy.
In addition, more than 130 institutions participated in the project, including education centers, conservatories, municipal buildings and educational and/or cultural properties.
