During the promotional campaign for Ben Affleck’s upcoming directorial film Air: The Big Jump starring Matt Damon, the actor remembered how he lived with a colleague and accused him of being dirty. Affleck mentioned this in an interview for evening show host James Corden.
According to the actor, at the beginning of his career, Affleck rented an apartment with his brothers Casey and Matt Damon to save money. The Pearl Harbor star recalls that her best friend was a very unscrupulous neighbor.
One day, the Affleck brothers decided to teach Damon a lesson and deliberately stopped cleaning after him in the apartment to control when his friends would notice exactly when the dirt level in the room was off the scale.
Two weeks later, Affleck found Damon playing a console surrounded by mountains of garbage.
“It didn’t seem like it bothered him at all. There were pizza boxes around with leftovers and half-eaten sushi in which the larvae were already visible. Then we realized we couldn’t beat him and we gave up,” Affleck opened.
