According to Deadline, Amazon Studios is planning serial adaptations of the RoboCop series and the Legally Blonde duo.
The company shared these plans after it acquired the rights to the projects as a result of its acquisition of the MGM film company, which previously produced the franchise.
Amazon officials announced the company’s future plans. A remake of the Legally Blonde dilogy has begun, which will receive its new incarnation in the form of a feature film and TV series. A series based on the Robocop series is also being prepared. The fantastic project “Stargate” will also be re-released in movie and TV format.
According to Deadline, the company is also considering possible remakes of The Magnificent Seven, Glory, and The Barbershop.
The adventurous comedies The Thomas Crown Affair and The Pink Panther can be remade as feature films.
