Dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Russian playwright Alexander Ostrovsky, the Bakhrushinsky Theater Museum has created a selection of 28 stickers for the Telegram messenger. In this respect informs “Russian newspaper”.
The stickers were developed based on Ostrovsky’s plays and sketches for performances stored in the museum. The sticker pack contains phrases and titles of Ostrovsky’s winged plays: “Do not ride in your sled”, “Guilty without guilt”, “Not all Maslenitsa for the cat”, “Our people – let’s get along”.
In total, Daria Zhukova, a specialist in the exhibition and exhibition activities of the exhibition and art projects department of the Bakhrushinsky Theater Museum, noted that Bakhrushinsky’s collection of decorative and visual materials includes more than 2.6 thousand works related to Ostrovsky. “We first selected all the costume designs, then selected recognizable and iconic characters: Kabanikha and Katerina from Thunderstorm, Glafira from Wolves and Sheep, etc. In the third stage, these sketches remained where the artist displayed the bright emotions of the characters,” said Zhukova, adding that in the end, 100 stickers were selected and the most versatile one remained on the set.
