From April 11-15, Alicante becomes a meeting point for more than a hundred pianists from around the world. I International Piano Competition Alicante City, It takes place in the premises of the José Tomás Music Conservatory.

This competition is dedicated to the outstanding pianist from Alicante. Gonzalo Sorianoin memory of this year fiftieth anniversary of his death. In the competition held last Wednesday Category A (up to 11 years old), Spanish pianist won Lucia Lopez Canada. Thursday, Category C (15 to 17 years old) winner comes out Jan Schulmeister from the Czech Republic.
