On April 27, an exhibition of graphic works by Marc Chagall entitled “The Three Periods of Marc Chagall” will open at the Krasnodar Regional Fine Arts Exhibition Hall. writes about it kubnews.

“Marc Chagall gained worldwide recognition during his lifetime. He left behind a rich artistic legacy, including numerous paintings and graphic works, as well as scenographic and literary works.”

As part of the exhibition, visitors will be shown graphically famous works of Chagall, including the rarest paintings from the collection of Mark and Pavel Bashmakov. Viewers will be able to see more than 60 works by the artist, including “Dead Souls”, “And On Earth …”, “The Bible” and “Behind the Mirror”, which are Chagall’s most famous paintings. The exhibition will remain open from April 27 to July 2, 2023.

Previously The dome of the Paris Opera, performed by Chagall, was requested to be dismantled. In January 2023, a retrospective exhibition of works by Jules Eugène Leneuve, the author of the mural adorning the dome of Chagall frescoes, concluded at the Angers Museum of Fine Arts. Thereafter, the copyright holders requested the French Ministry of Culture to restore the dome of the Paris Opera to its original form, created in 1875.
