We have now applied to the Ministry of Finance with a request to provide the Fund with more suitable opportunities for the financing of films for the next year,” he explained.
Tolstoy recalled that the President of the country has already given several instructions to support the production of national films. Tolstoy added that if the Ministry of Finance fulfills the instructions, a new domestic movie will be released every week. “It’s no secret that all producers are trying to be closer to the New Year holidays or some other date, but after the departure of Hollywood content, we need a more even distribution of new movies,” he said.
