Haruki Murakami’s new novel The City and Its Unreliable Walls is out in Japan. It has been reported TASS.

The work was the first in six years for the author. The volume of the novel is about 1200 pages. An electronic version of the book is also on sale. “A pure, 100 percent Murakami world that shakes the soul,” reads The City and Its Unreliable Walls’ description.

Murakami’s latest novel, Assassination of the Commander, was published in February 2017. According to Eksmo’s news, the author’s new work should also go on sale in Russia. The exact release date of the book is unknown.

Haruki Murakami’s works have been translated into 50 languages. The author is popular both in Japan and abroad. Murakami’s most famous works are Sheep Hunt (1982), Norwegian Wood (1987), Clockwork Bird Chronicles (1994-1995), Kafka on the Beach (2002) and 1Q84 (2009-2010). Some of the author’s works were filmed, such as “Drive My Car”, “Burning” and “Listen to the Wind Sing”.
