Honored Artist of the RSFSR Irina Mushtakova died at the age of 95. This was reported by representatives of the Moscow Operetta Theater on VKontakte.
Cause of death unknown. Mushtakova was a senior theater actress. The team expressed their deepest condolences to her family and friends. The artist’s funeral and farewell will be held on April 13 at 12:00 in Moscow.
Mushtakova was born on August 5, 1927 in the city of Tsivilsk. She graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Theater Arts in 1954. In the same year, the artist began to work at the Moscow Operetta Theatre. The actress played in such performances as “My Beautiful Lady”, “The Count of Luxembourg”, “My Neighbor Romeo”, “Treasure Seekers”, “Bat”, “Circus”, “Baroness Lily”, “White Acacia”. .
Mushtakova also starred in three feature films. Among them – “Francoise – Blanche”, “Spring and Operetta”, “Composer Ferenc Lehar”.
