In an interview with socialbites.ca, actor Gosha Kutsenko complained that as the audience becomes more “perverted”, it becomes more difficult to write “proper” scripts.
“The audience is probably corrupt in a good way, in a sense. And in general – in the last few years of cinema, series creativity has become very popular and has gained weight with the advent of platforms. And, of course, the pandemic made an invaluable contribution, ”said Kutsenko.
According to the artist, comedy films do not always manage to make the audience laugh, using only “pure tricks”. The artist likens writing witty scripts to an Olympic sport with certain restrictions.
“You have to be able to handle good and clean tricks when writing a screenplay. Avoid rudeness, don’t hit under the belt. This is a very Olympic sport: you can’t kick here, you can’t use your elbows, you can’t hit your eyes with sex or strong expressions, ”Kutsenko summarized.
