The head of the Federal Security and Anti-Corruption Project, Vitaly Borodin, asked the Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov to recognize the People’s Artist of Russia Liya Akhedzhakova as a foreign agent and to initiate multiple criminal cases against her. It has been reported TASS.
Borodin asked to bring Akhedzhakova to criminal liability for committing crimes in accordance with Art. The letter states that 275 (“Treason”), 280.3 (“Public acts aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation”) and 282 (“incitement to hatred or hostility”), of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. .
He also suggested that Akhedzhakova be deprived of her awards and honors because of her pro-Ukrainian statements and criticism of Russia’s special operations in Ukraine.
