Film by a Greenlandic director opens international popular science festival in Perm TASS.
At the opening of the show, director Ivalo Frank presented his movie “The Last Man”. The tape tells about Greenland explorer Tiny Rosing, who discovered the first evidence of life on Earth in the small Isua fjord. Its discovery proves that life on the planet arose 300 million years earlier than is generally believed and originated in Greenland.
Alongside The Last Man, Future.doc will be showing popular science movies from Germany, Canada, China, the USA and Russia with the main themes related to nature, space and artificial intelligence.
“This year has been a very rich program, it consisted of nine films. In my opinion, the films turned out interesting, diverse and beautiful, not only for those who want to learn something about science and the world, but also for people who care about aesthetics in the frame,” said Ekaterina Zemlyanukhina, the chief coordinator of the festival.
Previously, it was known that he was in Perm from June 1 to June 4. it will include I All-Russian festival of children’s, family cinema and animation “Bear cub”.
