Streaming giant Netflix has canceled the erotic series Sex/Life after two seasons, according to Deadline.

According to a spokesperson for the platform, the second season of the series brought the story to a natural conclusion by closing the lines of key characters whose relationships ended happily. The source also revealed that the stream is proud of the show and all the work done by the producers, cast and crew.

Sex/Life is based on the 2020 book 44 Chapters About 44 Men by Bebe Easton. At the center of the plot is Billy Connelly, a mother of two who remembers her ex in a series of routine days. One day a man finds himself on the threshold of her house and pulls the hero into the abyss of forgotten passions.

Recently, lead actress Sarah Shahi admitted that the series was filmed in a toxic atmosphere and lacked the support of the production team. The actor stated that he would not cooperate with Netflix again due to this experience.
