“A dangerous 23-year-old assailant attacked five women and two children, one just nine years old, in different parts of Prague on 3 March. Each of them was punched in the face by the attacker. He also had four knives in his backpack,” said police spokesman Jan Danek.
The musician said that the attacker attacked his wife and ran to escape. However, Gruza gave his daughter, whom he held in his arms, to his wife and caught the culprit. Thereupon, the singer knocked the man down and kept him like this until the police arrived. Gruza noted that all this time the criminal had assured anyone that he had done nothing wrong. Law enforcement sent the attacker to a psychiatric clinic after interrogation. A man can be accused of hooliganism and willful injury. He could face up to five years in prison for such a crime.
