Belgrade to host Russian Creative Music Festival

Serbia will host Russia’s festival of creative musical fields. This was reported to socialbites.ca by the organizers of the event.

The festival will take place in Belgrade from 16-18 June. It will take place in three locations: Jevremovac Botanical Garden, Youth House’s movie theater and Pharmacy summer stage.

Musicians from various genres took part in the program of the event. Visitors will be able to listen to avant-folk, Slovenian queer electronica, Belgrade dub, traditional acapellas from Serbian villages, American guitar minimalism, English rave utopia and escapist new age from Russia.

The Fields will feature international artists. These include James Holden, Ishome, Rhys Chatham, Širom, DUF, Headhop, Thea Soti, Warrego Valles, XYR, Ushko, II/III.

In addition, two guest curators were invited to the festival – the Serbian avant-garde artist Svetlana Spazhich and the main promotional team of the formatless dance electronics SUTRA. They will talk about the cultural environment in their profession.
