New Zealand actor Anthony Starr announced on Twitter that filming for season 4 of The Boys has ended.

Starr shared a photo from the plane, saying that the project has finished filming the 4th season. The artist flew away from Toronto, where the series was being produced.

“Season 4 is over for this blonde idiot,” the actor wrote. The release date of the new season is unknown.

Starr played the main antagonist of the series in the narcissistic and violent superhero Homelander The Boys. The project was adapted from the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The tape’s director is Eric Kripke, best known as the creator of the TV series Supernatural.

Artists such as Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Dominic McEllygott, Jesse T. Asher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Jensen Ackles, Aya Cash played in The Boys.

Previously Supernatural star Jeffrey Dean Morgan has reportedly joined season 4 of The Boys. The details of his role are unknown. In Supernatural, the actor played John Winchester, the father of the main characters.
