People’s Artist of Dagestan Magomedrasul Zavaev died at the age of 77. It has been reported TASS.
Cause of death unknown. The head of the Ministry of Culture of Dagestan Zarema Butaeva expressed deep condolences to the family and friends of the actor.
“The Dagestan music community has suffered a heavy loss. Artist of the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Dagestan T. Muradova Magomedrasul Zavaev, People’s Artist of the Republic of Dagestan I, ”says the press service of the Ministry of Culture of Dagestan.
Magomedrasul Zavaev was born in 1945 in the village of Khadzhalmakhi. After school, he entered the Makhachkala Music School. The artist started to serve in the Dagestan State Philharmonic Orchestra on behalf of T. Muradov in 1978. In the last years of his life, he worked as a soloist of the opera troupe at the Dagestan State Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Previously People’s Artist of Russia Alexander Sklyarov died. Sklyarov has worked as a solo player in the Voronezh Philharmonic Orchestra for over 35 years. In 1971 she won the Women’s World Cup held in Bruges. The musician has toured all over the world with classical and folk music in his own arrangement.
