Canadian actress Sharon Acker, best known for the movie Point Blank and the TV series The New Perry Mason, has died at the age of 87. It has been reported Variation.

The actress’ death was confirmed by her cousin, David Glover: “My wife Judy and I were very close to Sharon and even after she returned to Toronto we kept in touch regularly to stay closer to her daughters and family. I’ll never forget Sharon’s million dollar smile. He made everyone he interacted with feel so much better.”

The actor passed away in a nursing home in Toronto on March 16.

Sharon Acker was born on April 2, 1935, in Toronto. She played the wife of the protagonist, played by Lee Marvin, in the 1967 action movie Point Blank, directed by John Boorman. The actor also became famous thanks to his participation in the 1980 cult slasher Happy Birthday to Me, the same film was Ecker’s last feature. Saying goodbye to television after the TV series The Young and the Restless in 1992, the actor returned to Canada two years later and immersed himself in painting.
