The organizers of the “Siberian Wind” festival, which will be held in Novosibirsk on August 11-13, removed the group “Splin” from the poster at the request of the public organization “Father’s Council of the Novosibirsk Region”.
The organizers released a new poster in which the leader of the Splin group, Alexander Vasiliev, disappeared. “Spleen” is no longer among the invited musicians on the festival’s website.
On March 31, the head of the Fathers Council of the Novosibirsk Region, Sergei Mayorov, said that providing Spleen with a site is unacceptable. According to him, such a step under the conditions of special operations “is at the level of betrayal of the interests of the state, the interests of the citizens.”
The head of the public organization did not like the fact that the group will “broadcast its views to a wide audience” and get paid for it.
In August last year, “Officers of Russia” activists asked the Prosecutor General’s Office to check the statements of the leader of the group “Splin” that he violated the law on a special military operation. Suspicions among activists arose from the performance of the song “No Exit”, which the rock musician dedicated to artists and groups who had recently left the country, at the Chernozem rock festival in Voronezh.
