Sailor Moon’s official YouTube channel has released the trailer for Sailor Moon: Cosmos, the sequel to Sailor Moon: Crystal and Beauty Sailor Moon: Eternity.
The trailer doesn’t reveal much of the plot, but as Collider points out, there’s no doubt that “all naval warriors will return for an epic battle” in the upcoming movie.
Like “Eternity”, “Cosmos” will be divided into two parts. The first will be released on June 9, and the second will premiere on June 30. The film is directed by Tomoya Takahashi. (“Kill or be killed”).
Published from 2014-2016, Warrior Beauty Sailor Moon: Crystal was the second film adaptation of Naoko Takeuchi’s Warrior Beauty Sailor Moon manga, after the 90s anime of the same name, which gained cult status. The protagonists of the series are magical girls who can turn into warriors named after the moons and planets of the solar system, who oppose the forces of Chaos.
Cosmos will screen the events of the fifth final arc of the original Stars manga.
