The Sovremennik Theater did not comment on People’s Artist of Russia Liya Akhedzhakova’s statement that she voluntarily wrote her resignation letter on March 10. The press secretary of the theater, Elena Volkova, told socialbites.ca that she was not authorized to speak about the actress.
“Unfortunately, I have no comment on this. I am not authorized to comment on that,” said Volkova.
Earlier, Liya Akhedzhakova told Novaya Gazeta that she left the theater group of her own accord on March 10, 2023. Same day in Sovremennik declarationthat the actor continues to work in the theater.
