HBO to reduce the number of episodes of the second season of House of the Dragon

The upcoming second season of HBO’s House of the Dragon will consist of eight episodes. It has been reported deadline.

The management of the streaming service has decided to reduce the number of episodes from ten to eight in connection with plans for the third season of the series. Initially, the creators of “House of the Dragon” planned a ten-episode story series, but eventually the script was changed and screen time was shortened for the second season.

The change in the number of divisions is speculated to be due to the cost-cutting policies of parent company Warner Bros. discovery. However, an HBO spokesperson stated that the decision was made precisely because of changes to the script.
