Revocation of rights to use images of Moomins, characters created by Finnish writer and artist Tove Jansson, will not affect the publication of his books in Russia. As he reported TASS AST and Azbuka-Atticus publishing houses continue to sell and reprint Jansson’s books on Moomins in Russian.

AFI Development previously told reporters that the license was revoked by official copyright holders, Moomin Characters, which was founded in the 1950s by Tove and Lars Jansson.
