“Waves” by Mikhail Brashinsky, author of the zombie horror movie “Shopping Tour” and former film critic of “Afisha”, will hit theaters on April 13. This was reported to socialbites.ca by the press service of Reflexion films.

The main roles in dystopia were played by Victoria Tolstoganova, Vladislav Abashin and Irina Brazgovka. At the center of the plot are several people who accidentally or voluntarily enter a totalitarian sect. The characters begin to appreciate their freedom only in conditions of strict surrender and find true love where any feelings are forbidden.

Tolstoganova initially admitted that another actress should play the main role, but left the project due to illness. “He had a few days to prepare, so it’s definitely not an easy hike. But a long-standing friendship with Mikhail Brashinsky helped, he imagined this beautiful and eerie closed world, these people, their views, their fears in such detail that I completely believed and trusted his directorial confidence, ”the artist shared.

According to Brashinsky, he wrote the script for the movie for about eight years. “I stopped, I threw, but he did not let go, did not let go. I came back to him from time to time. And it didn’t, it didn’t. And in the summer of 2018, I was suddenly completely alone, and suddenly I realized that I can now finish, ”the director said.
