The director admitted that he hopes for its official release in Russia. According to him, the painting is “non-political”. The film will premiere at the festival this summer.

“The film will have a festival premiere this summer, it is cinematically engaging, generally non-political at the international festival. We hope that this will give impetus to distribution in Russia. And then, after the festival premieres and the situation develops, we will publish it,” Ginsburg concluded.
