The Ministry of Education of Russia has set the task of creating a school theater in each school by the end of 2024. It has been reported TASS with reference to the head of the ministry, Sergei Kravtsov.
According to Kravtsov, school theater allows young people to realize themselves both as actors and as assistant directors. “And when men get involved and see different professions, it’s also career guidance that helps them realize and find themselves,” she shared as she opened the fourth season of the Big Change in Sirius contest.
The minister stated that in 2022 there are about 7,000 school theaters in Russia. In 2023 there are already 18,000 people, and Kravtsov emphasized that they appeared not under administrative pressure, but on the personal initiative of school leaders.
