The Labyrinth project, which will be shown at the Bolshoi Theater in the fall of 2022, will be presented for the first time on the stage of Crocus City Hall on May 25. This was reported to socialbites.ca in the press service of the program.
“The best soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre, the artist Igor Chapurin, the sculptor Dashi Namdakov and the famous Spanish choreographer Patrick De Bana worked on the labyrinth ballets. “The Labyrinth” is three performances that combine the innovation of Russian ballet culture, international experience and original solutions,” the press service said.
In the ballet The Shining, futuristic worlds based on Olaf Stapledon’s novel The Starmaker were recreated on stage, showing a huge moving head, portraits of dancers on stage, and unusual costumes in the form of long white tunics. The production was choreographed by Golden Mask winner Olga Labovkina.
The performance of “Nerv” is dedicated to people’s relationships and the emotional trauma they inflict on each other. Spanish choreographer Patrick de Bana staged the most anticipated premiere of “Labyrinth”, the ballet “Minotaur”. He emphasized that he had long dreamed of showing the plot of an ancient Greek tragedy on stage.
“My African roots probably affect it, but hearing the ‘voice of the world’ is very important to me. I’m like an African lion lying there waiting to catch its prey. So I wait for my choreography to come to me, it comes out very naturally,” she admitted to de Bana.
Former Bolshoi Ballet Prime Minister Igor Tsvirko judicial Kamila Valieva is the most “ballet” figure skater.
