Artist and calligrapher Liza Orobey said on Twitter that rapper Oksimiron (known in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) responded to her work on social networks.
Orobey painted Oksimiron in a wreath of thorns. Calligraphic patterns in the form of a halo are seen in the background. The rapper thanked for the work, but admitted that he did not like it. Yıldız said, “It’s true, I don’t feel like a great martyr, but you are an artist, you see it that way.”
The musician added that he saw Orobey’s work with his image more than once, because he often flagged the singer on social networks. The artist did not respond before, as he did not like his calligraphy style. “And your pictures in general, with all due respect to the effort, are not mine at all. But since you want feedback so badly, I think it’s okay to finally talk about it,” Oksimiron added.
The artist also noted that “marks of the same type in a group of posts” by the artist can be equated with a type of spam, according to Internet ethics. The musician explained that this applies not only to Orobei, but also to other users. Oksimiron explained “what the ban is for,” but it only blocks it on rare occasions.
In conclusion, Oksimiron once again thanked him for the interest shown in his person and work. “Does it matter what I think if you’re high on what you’re doing? It’s the best,” the singer concluded.
Orobey admitted that he never expected Oksimiron’s reaction to his work. The artist added that he didn’t want to be disturbed by his markings, thinking that he would get lost in the messages of other fans. According to the girl, the creativity of the star helped her get out of depression and get rid of bullying.
Calligrapher added that he is not bothered by the artist’s dislike of his work. “I also wanted to add the picture to your account, Miron. Orobei explained that it’s more motivating than a “martyr.”
