American actor, director, screenwriter and producer Tommy Wiseau has released the trailer for his second feature film, the dramatic horror movie Big Shark. The video, the second half of which is an advertisement for underwear designed by Wiseau, is available on the producer’s official YouTube channel.
The plot of Big Shark focuses on the attempts of three firefighters to save New Orleans from the attack of a giant killer shark.
Wiseau directed and produced the tape. He co-wrote the script with Greg Sestero and Isaiah Laborde. All three played the main roles in the “Big Shark”.
The film’s limited release in the United States begins on April 2.
Wiseau is best known as the author of the 2003 romantic drama The Room. This picture has been repeatedly referred to as the worst movie of all time, as a result of which it achieved cult status. Later, Wiseau co-directed the short documentary Homeless in America and directed the sitcom Neighbors. In addition, the cinematographer appeared as an actor in the action movie “Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance” and the comedy thriller “Comrades for Ages”, which was staged according to Sestero’s script.
In 2017, the movie The Disaster Artist, based on Sestero’s memoirs about the shooting of The Room, was released. It stars James Franco, Dave Franco, Seth Rogen, and Josh Hutcherson.
It was learned that in 2023 it was “The Room”. will be rebuilt. Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk will replace Wiseau in the upcoming movie. All proceeds from the project will go to charities.
