The museum itself stated that, under Loshak’s leadership, the institution “is in constant development, seeking new forms of expression and interaction with audiences and the professional community.”
Loshak himself said that his life credo is to continue. “Ten years is a very long time for a director. The museum is on the right track, I have projects and ideas that I want to realize in new conditions, with new dynamics but with the same goals: art for everyone, new meanings, hopes for the future.”
He also clarified how the new director should be. “Then the next person has to come with new energy, new thoughts, and new ambitions to continue what others have started,” he concluded.
Marina Loshak resigned from the directorship of her own free will on March 21. Elizaveta Likhacheva became the new head of the institution.
