Ballet Sergei Polunin, sculptor Yekaterina Pilnikova and director Aidar Zabbarov received the 2022 Young Cultural Workers Award from Russian President Vladimir Putin. It has been reported TASS with regard to the relevant decree of the head of state.

Polunin was awarded with the phrase “for his contribution to the development and dissemination of domestic choreographic art”. Pilnikova was awarded for a series of sculptures depicting prominent representatives of Russian culture and art, and Zabbarov for his contribution to the development of Russian theatrical art.
