American actor and producer Leonardo DiCaprio described the new movie “Killers of the Flower Moon”, directed by Martin Scorsese, in which he plays one of the main roles, as “a masterpiece”. This was stated in an interview with Deadline by costume designer Jacqueline West, who worked on the painting.
“I had an argument with Leo. [фильм]. We had dinner together before we came here. “Jackie, I think we’re working on a masterpiece,” he said. I thought if Leo said that, it means something. It just doesn’t say that. He’s been in the industry since he was little,” said West, who previously collaborated with DiCaprio on The Revenant, for which Alejandro González Iñárritu won an Oscar.
The plot of “The Flower Moon Killers” focuses on the FBI investigating murders in a Native American settlement, where an oil field enriching the Indians is discovered. The cast of the tape included DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Brendan Fraser, John Lithgow, and musician Jack White. For DiCaprio, the painting was the sixth collaboration with Scorsese and the tenth for De Niro.
The movie is expected to air on the Apple TV+ stream later this year.
Previously It was learned that it could be premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
