Actress Yulia Peresild appeared in the image of Elizabeth I for the documentary film “The Empress”. The images were posted on the Instagram of the star and the press service of the project (the owner of Meta is recognized and banned in Russia as an extremist).
In the comments, some fans thought Peresild’s appearance was “too modern” for reincarnation as Elizaveta Petrovna. The user wrote under the photo of the actress in the image, “Your face didn’t seem too modern for the time to me”.
At the center of the plot “Empress” are Catherine I, Anna Ioannovna and the main character – Elizabeth I. The director of the project is Andrey Kravchuk. The film will be the second in the “Russian” cycle, after “Peter I. The Last Tsar and the First Emperor”.
Evgeny Schwartz (Karamora), Ivan Kolesnikov (Union of Salvation), Anna Ukolova and Alexandra Veleskevich (Major Grom: The Plague Doctor) will also take part in the project.
